About the author
Huo Da, a national Class A Muslim woman writer. She created over six million characters of works in various literature forms. Among these works. She won the third Mao Dun Literature Prize and the third Excellent Award of National Ethnic Minority Literature for her full-length novel Jade King: History of a Chinese Muslim Family. She also won the seventh “Five-One Project” Award and the sixth Steed Award of National Ethnic Minority Literature for her work Repair the Cleft of the Sky.
