On the afternoon of October 25, the signing press conference of the world's 11th "October Writer’s Residence · Moscow" was held at the October Literature Institute (Yousheng Temple). Yulia Starislavavna, representative of Russian Shans International Publishing Group, Qu Zhong, general manager of Beijing Publishing Group and dean of October School of Literature, Liu Wenfei, famous translator, professor of Capital Normal University, president of China Russian Literature Research Association, Lü Yue, executive deputy dean of October Literature Institute, and Chen Dongjie, editor-in-chief of October, attended the event. This event was one of the core activities of the fourth "Beijing October Literature Month", and it was also a useful attempt by Beijing Publishing Group in promoting literature "going global" and exploring international literature exchanges and cooperation.
"October Writer’s Residence" is an important platform for Beijing Publishing Group to expand publishing cooperation in countries and regions along the "Belt and Road". Using literature as the carrier, it has become an important base for Chinese writers to get in-depth experience of society and for the "going global" of Chinese literature, linking China and foreign countries, organizing writers to go to the "residence" for creative experience, carrying out a variety of literary and cultural exchange activities, promoting writer's creation and literary communication and dissemination. Currently, Beijing Publishing Group has set up 11 "October Writer’s Residence" around the world, including Prague, Edinburgh, Kathmandu, New York, Moscow, Beijing, Lhasa, Lizhuang, Wuyishan, Lijiang Ancient Town, and Xishuangbanna. A number of writers have been in residence, including Wu Yuchu, Ma Yuan, Han Shaogong, Yu Hua, Ye Guangqin, Liu Qingbang, Xu Zechen, Su Tong, Ning Ken, and Liang Hong.
