Recently, the Planning and Management Office of the National Publication Foundation announced the results of the 2020 National Publishing Fund selection. Beijing Publishing Group submitted 27 books, of which 5 were selected, namely, "The Beijing Xiangshan Revolutionary History Series of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China", "The History of the People's Republic of China Series" (first series), China in the Eyes of Marx and Engels, Collection of Hou Renzhi’s Manuscripts and Notes: Manuscripts and Notes during the Study in Britain, Chronicles of Lin Huiyin.

In Promoting the Creation of High-quality Publications in Innovation While Adhering to Correct Line  – 2020 National Publication Foundation Review and Approval released by the Planning and Management Office of the National Publication Foundation, "The History of the People's Republic of China Series" (first series) published by Beijing People's Publishing House was mentioned as one of the excellent projects promoting in-depth publicity and implementation of Xi Jinping’s thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics in a new era and in-depth practice and promotion of socialist core values”.

Among the five selected books, "The Beijing Xiangshan Revolutionary History Series of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China", "The History of the People's Republic of China Series" and China in the Eyes of Marx and Engels was selected into the national key publication planning project in the "13th Five-Year Plan" Period.
