Recently, the China Guest of Honour Event at the 32nd Tehran International Book Fair kicked off at the Khomeini Grand Mosque in Tehran. Beijing Publishing Group took more than 200 books to the exhibition, focusing on Panorama of Reform and Opening-up (Beijing Volume), "Masters for the Masses", "Intangible Cultural Heritage Series", "Golden Horse Ethnic Children's Literary Works", Northward, and Ordinary World, etc., as well as a batch of outstanding publications selected for the "Silk Road Book Project" and "China Book International",  a program of promoting Chinese books worldwide. The group also participated in the "China Good Books" promotion conference and the agreement signing ceremony of the Persian version of "China Story" series.

During the promotion conference, Xu Zechen, author of the book Northward, shared the content and background of the book with the guests at the event. Ms. Meng Na, the dean of the Chinese Department of Allameh Tabataba'i University in Iran, took Good Poetry Deserve Hundreds of Readings as an example to explain the cultural commonality of Chinese and Iranian poetry and led the audience to appreciation of Chinese classical poetry. In addition, the group also signed the Persian version copyright agreement of Northward at the Signing Ceremony of Persian Version of "China Story" Series and the Launching Ceremony of New Sino-Iranian Publishing Cooperation.
