On December 28, the inauguration ceremony of "October Writer's Residence · Wuyi Mountain" was held at Yue Wuyi Tea Life Aesthetics Hotel in Wuyi Mountain. This event was co-hosted by the October Literature Institute and Yue Wuyi Hotel.

The "October Writer’ s Residence" is an important platform for the group to expand publishing cooperation in countries and regions along the "Belt and Road". It is an extension of the creation project of the October Literature Institute. It organizes writers to go to the "residence" to experience life, providing writers with various thinking and creative spaces and organizing a variety of literary and cultural exchange activities. It has become an important base for Chinese literature to "cultivate deep" and "go global".

Wuyi Mountain is in the dual heritage of world cultural and natural heritage list. It is also the birthplace and origin of Neo-Confucianism of Zhu Xi. The natural environment is beautiful and the cultural heritage is profound. The "October Writer's Residence" settled in Wuyi Mountain and became the first "October Writer's Residence" in the southeast of China. It is also the seventh "October Writer's Residence" in the world.

Zhang Xianjun, deputy mayor of Wuyishan City, said that the settlement of writer’s residence in Wuyi Mountain is of great significance to introduce high-quality literary resources into the region, enrich and improve its cultural brand, and promote Wuyi Mountain and Chinese literature. The Wuyishan Municipal Government welcomes writers to come to experience life and create works, and will actively support the actual operation of the residence and organize various creative exchange activities.
