Recently, the book series Talk about China with Oxford, jointly compiled and published by Beijing Publishing Group’s Jingban Beijing Education Culture Media Co., Ltd., Beijing Education Press and Oxford University Press (China), was nominated as a finalist of 2021 Local Innovation (in partnership with Cambridge Assessment English) by ELTons Awards for Innovation in English Language Teaching, standing out among 180 projects from 50 countries and regions around the world. This is the first time for the Chinese publishing sector to win the nomination for the ELTons Local Innovation Award. On October 4th, the six nominated projects will compete for the award. The final result will be announced at the awarding ceremony in London, UK, and will be broadcast live worldwide.

The series Talk about China with Oxford won the ELTons award, which is a great recognition of the culture, specialty and fun of the book by the global English teaching community. It also builds the foundation for the series to be selected by English teachers from all over the world. The complete series of Talk about China with Oxford, consisting of 108 books, will be completely published in 2022. We will strive to promote its use in non-English speaking countries through mainstream international distribution channels and national projects, in order to enhance the international dissemination of Chinese culture and the appeal of Chinese culture.
